UN CC:Learn Champions

In 2022, UN CC:Learn issued its 200,000 certificates of course completion and, to celebrate this important milestone, the programme asked its alumni to share stories explaining how the UN CC:Learn courses influenced them to act on climate change. The campaign’s goal was to select the best stories and award the people behind them the title of “UN CC:Learn Champions”.

After a comprehensive selection process, UN CC:Learn unveiled the 11 new UN CC:Learn Champions in 2023. These Champions had their stories featured on the UN CC:Learn Knowledge-sharing platform, social media, and newsletter. In addition, some of them were invited to participate in a series of alumni engagement events.

Read their stories below.

Sustainable Development in Practice e-learning series

The Sustainable Development in Practice Series, consisting of two e-courses, had a dedicated launch campaign comprising a teaser video, visual assets, newsletters, and two peer learning events.

The campaign successfully encouraged learners to sign up and complete the course, with over 15,000 registrations and more than 4,000 certificates of course completion issued in just a few months after the launch. Moreover, the peer learning events, also promoted during the launch campaign, brought together over 600 learners to exchange and get insights from experts.
