This brochure provides an overview of LEAP (Livelihoods, Early Assessment and Protection), an early warning-early response tool developed by the Ethiopian government in collaboration with WFP which triggers contingency funding ahead of severe droughts or floods, to provide food or cash to the people projected to need early assistance.
