Climate Risk Management for Agriculture in Peru: Focus on the Regions of Junìn and Piura

This technical document presents the main results of a climate risk and risk management capacity assessment for Peru, with a thematic focus on the agricultural sector in the regions of Junín and Piura. The combination of scientific and participatory research streams, including literature reviews, community consultations, agroclimatic risk evaluation, policy and capacity assessments, provides a basis for identifying climate risks in the focus sector and regions and prioritizing measures to manage them. A range of national government agencies and consultants were involved in the research.
