Climate Finance for Cities and Buildings: A Handbook for Local Governments

This technical document seeks to provide a resource for city managers and other stakeholders in their consideration of climate change mitigation strategies and other sustainable development goals. It aims to raise awareness among local stakeholders on the potential for climate finance in the built environment, and help local governments use climate finance mechanisms for increasing energy performance, improving resource efficiency and supporting wider climate strategies while creating additional revenue.
