Transforming On-Grid Renewable Energy Markets – A Review of UNDP-GEF Support for Feed-in Tariffs and Related Price and Market-Access Instruments

This activity report provides an overview of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Global Environment Facility (GEF)’s extensive work supporting the development of national renewable energy regimes based around feed-in tariffs. In these activities UNDP-GEF assists developing countries to assess key barriers and risks to technology diffusion, and then to identify a mix of derisking instruments and incentives to remove these barriers and to drive investment.
