Demystifying Private Climate Finance

This manual discusses the concept of private finance, its links with climate change mitigation and adaptation and public actors’ roles to mobilize it. The report aims to increase policymakers’ understanding of private finance and to introduce an approach that climate policy makers can follow, especially when designing public interventions for unlocking private climate finance.
