Adaptation to Climate Risk and Food Security: Evidence from Smallholder Farmers in Ethiopia
This analytical report aims to explore the impact of climate risk on the risk decreasing practices’ adoption and evaluates their impact on household welfare. It shows that as risk increases, the use of risk-reducing inputs increases, such as climate-smart agriculture (CSA) inputs, while the use of modern inputs such as chemical fertilizer decreases. Also, yield-enhancing inputs such as chemical fertilizer and improved seeds are mainly adopted by wealthier households whereas risk-reducing inputs are frequently used by households with a lower level of wealth and limited access to credit.

Early Lessons from Jurisdictional REDD+ and Low Emissions Development Programs
This manual presents how a jurisdictional approach to REDD+ can work effectively across land types and engage a broad range of stakeholders. However, working at such a large scale often causes significant challenges in terms of mobilizing technical and human capacity. The study examined eight case studies, which a number of advantages to a jurisdictional approach, these approaches include the alignment of government policies and strategies, the achievement of credible emission reductions, and the realization of efficiencies in programme management.

Food Security and Adaptation Impacts of Potential Climate Smart Agricultural Practices in Zambia
This analytical report analyzes how a set of widely promoted agricultural practices, including reduced tillage, crop rotations, legume intercropping as well as the use of modern inputs, affect crop yields and their resilience in Zambia using panel data from the Rural Incomes and Livelihoods Surveys (RILS). The report provides important insights into the interplay between food security outcomes and climatic variables, and provides policy implications for targeted interventions to improve the productivity and the resilience of smallholder agriculture in Zambia in the face of climate change.

Scientific Assessment of Ozone Depletion: 2014
This technical report has concluded that ozone layer recovery will occur more rapidly if eliminating the production of the ozone-depleting substance (ODS) hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs), and managing other remaining ODSs, are fast-tracked. This report found that phasing out the small remaining uses of ODSs, which are currently exempted from phase-outs, would hasten ozone recovery by about 11 years.
