UNIDO Business Partnerships. Partnering for Prosperity
This report presents the partnerships UNIDO has made over the years. In planning how to turn ideas into practical programmes, UNIDO needed to take account of new trends in industry and business itself. It was clear that globalization of production, trade, technology and finance had made manufacturing more international, making it harder for developing countries to compete. Thus engaging in partnerships is critical.

This analytical report highlights that the effect of climate change is already straining the disaster relief system and the threat of extreme climatic events in the future is likely to generate higher demands for disaster assistance that will prove more costly.
