Responding to the new international policy context, the One UN Climate Change Learning Partnership (UN CC:Learn) is supporting countries in addressing learning priorities relevant to their National Determined Contributions (NDCs) and National Adaptation Plans (NAPs) through the development and implementation of climate change learning strategies. UN CC:Learn is currently operating in 30 countries, either bilaterally or through regional programmes.
In order to build synergies with other like-minded national and international institutions, the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), as the Secretariat for UN CC:Learn, has joined the NDC Partnership. This is a major coalition of governments and development partners seeking to achieve ambitious climate goals while advancing sustainable development.
At the country level, the NDC Partnership engages with governments and other stakeholders to evaluate needs and identify synergies and opportunities for collaboration. Partnership members provide coordinated support and expertise to advance NDC implementation. At the global level, the Partnership supports countries in achieving their climate objectives by increasing access to relevant resources and knowledge products as well as promoting experience sharing around the NDC implementation.
The NDC Partnership is hosted by the World Resource Institute (WRI), as well as the Secretariat of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
