The eight Presidents of the Central America Integration System (SICA) have officially decided to scale-up the UN CC:Learn programme in the region. The Dominican Republic presented the results of their national UN CC:Learn project to SICA members who agreed on January 29th 2014 to work towards the implementation of similar activities in their countries.

The eight Presidents of the Central America Integration System (SICA) have officially decided to scale-up the UN CC:Learn programme in the region. The Dominican Republic, which has assumed the SICA presidency for the first half of 2014, presented the results of their national UN CC:Learn project to SICA members who agreed on January 29th 2014 to work towards the implementation of similar activities in their countries.

The Central American Integration System (SICA) aims to foster the integration of Central America to become a region of peace, freedom, democracy and development. SICA members include Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Belize and the Dominican Republic. SICA’s General Secretariat headquarters are located in the Republic of El Salvador.
