This section aims to share the results of the annual impact surveys conducted within our learning community as well as testimonials from our beneficiaries. The surveys intend to understand the effectiveness of our e-courses and how our learners are taking climate action, adopting a sustainable lifestyle, and taking climate-friendly decisions. The main findings from the latest report are:

  • 82% of respondents applied the knowledge and skills acquired through our courses frequently or occasionally.
  • 94% said the UN CC:Learn course has given them the necessary skills and knowledge to take climate action.
  • 75% of respondents have changed the way they think about climate change completely or mostly after taking a UN CC:Learn course.
  • 93% of respondents are confident in speaking or advocating about climate change after taking a course.
  • 98% of respondents changed the way they think and act in relation to climate change to some extent.
  • 40% of respondents participated in climate policy discussions at local, national and global levels.
  • 8% received a pay raise after completing a UN CC:Learn course.
  • 53% of respondents enrolled in UN CC:Learn courses for professional reasons.

Being the Change: A Collection of Climate Stories

This storybook offers a collection of climate stories from our ten climate champions. Their climate actions were inspired by our courses and they have been working proactively to contribute toward a sustainable transformation of their community. Each of the stories aims to inspire others to take climate actions into their own hands.
