IPCC Expert Meeting on the Future of the Task Group on Data and Scenario Support for Impacts and Climate Analysis
This activity report presents the proceedings and recommendations from the Expert Meeting on the future of the Task Group on Data and Scenario Support for Impact and Climate Analysis (TGICA) which was held in Geneva, Switzerland from 26 – 27 January 2016. The purpose of the meeting was to obtain input from relevant experts on the future role of TGICA in relation to the needs of the IPCC and in the context of an evolving landscape of climate change related data and scenario provision. The meeting was attended by 57 invited experts from a wide range of organizations and countries.

A Toolkit for Preparation of Low Carbon Mobility Plan
This guidance document provides a simplified approach for Low Carbon Mobility Plan (LCMP) preparation for smaller cities, or cities in which no major investments are envisaged in the short-term. It also gives a step-by-step approach on the methodologies needed for its preparation, and clarifications on the role of stakeholders during the process. The toolkit has a specific focus on cities in less-developed and developing countries where significant infrastructure will be built to cater to a growing transportation demand and, therefore, land-use and transport policies can play an important role in shaping mobility demand and mode choice.
