  • New Launch of e-Tutorial on Climate Policy and Public Finance

    UN CC:Learn and UNDP, with support from the Government of Sweden had launched a new free e-tutorial “Climate Policy and Public Finance”, which aims to support policy makers in understanding how to optimize countries’ public expenditures by taking into account the projected climate change impacts.   

  • Malawi Launches Secondary School Sourcebook on Climate Change

    The Governing Council of the Ugandan National Curriculum Development Centre (NCDC), Ministry of Education and Sports, has approved two Climate Change Readers for use in primary schools nationally, as additional materials supplementing the national curriculum. 

  • Strengthening Education and Training in Support of Ghana’s Ambitious Climate Change Response

    Ghana kicked-off the development of its National Climate Change Learning Strategy at a Planning Workshop. The strategy is intended to support the implementation of the country’s Intended Nationally Determined Contribution (or ‘INDC’ – Ghana’s international commitment to combat climate change).

  • Agreement in Dominican Republic to Integrate Climate Change in Higher Education

    The National Council for Climate Change and the Clean Development Mecanism (CNCCMDL) of the Dominican Republic and the  Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD) signed a collaboration agreement in order to develop initiatives for education, training and public participantion related to climate change.
