The One UN Partnership on Climate Change Learning (UN CC:Learn) has been supporting countries in developing National Learning Strategies on Climate Change. In this class you will learn what these strategies entail and gain insights for the process in practice. You will also access concrete examples from strategy implementation around the world. The class is specifically tailored to the needs of the Action for Climate Empowerment Focal Points.


Cristina Rekakavas is a Training Associate in the area of climate change and green development at the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), in Geneva, Switzerland. At UNITAR, Cristina coordinates the work of the Secretariat of The One UN Climate Change Learning Partnership (UN CC:Learn). She supports the promotion of climate change learning within a broad public, with the aim to enhance the development of the knowledge and the competencies needed to build a more sustainable future.
