UN CC:Learn in Kenya

Strengthening Human Resources and Skills to Address Climate Change

While being increasingly exposed to its impacts, Kenya is a leading country in taking action to address climate change, having several dedicated national policies and being actively engaged in multiple international initiatives. With the aim of strengthening existing processes by taking a more strategic approach to climate change learning, the Government of Kenya officially joined the UN CC:Learn Partnership in 2018. The UN CC:Learn Project to Strengthen Human Resources and Skills to Advance the Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) and the National Adaptation Plan (NAP) is being implemented through a multi-stakeholder and cross-sectoral approach and will lead to the development of National Climate Change Learning Strategy of Kenya.
