Webinar for a Youth Social Media Campaign on Health and Climate Change

20 July 2014. Young people often feel that there is a large disconnect between their visions, their projects, their voices and the international political talks on climate change and health. In order to contribute to these talks, the international federation of medical students association (IFMSA) will facilitate a discussion with youth and the international climate community. The event will take place on 24 July at 4:00 pm CEST.

Youth everywhere have taken action to lead societies towards a low carbon and climate resilient future. They are spreading awareness, adopting climate-friendly lifestyles, advocating for governmental action, and implementing adaptation and mitigation projects in their communities. The opinions gathered will be used to create a Youth Voices document that will be added to the official report at the World Health Organization (WHO) climate change and health conference.
