Technical Workshop on Water and Climate Change Impacts and Adaptation Strategies under the Nairobi Work Programme on Impacts, Vulnerability and Adaptation to Climate Change

This technical workshop discusses water, climate change impacts and adaptation strategies. It is informed by the information contained in Annex I to the report of the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA) on its thirty-fourth session (FCCC/SBSTA/2011/2) and subsequent views of Parties. It includes indigenous and traditional knowledge and practices for adaptation and gender-sensitive tools and approaches as cross-cutting issues. Furthermore, the workshop takes into account the technical paper on water and climate change impacts and adaptation strategies (FCCC/TP/2011/5).
