A first round of applications for the UN CC:Learn pilot projects was closed in April 2011. More than 25 governments expressed a formal interest in participating in the initiative as a pilot country. Five countries (Benin, the Dominican Republic, Indonesia, Malawi and Uganda) were selected by the CC:Learn Steering Group in July 2011.
In light of the significant interest already received, funding to support additional pilot projects is being sought from interested donors.
Governments that did not participate in the first round of applications, but that are interested in exploring opportunities to implement a national UN CC:Learn project, are welcome to contact the CC:Learn Secretariat (firstname.lastname@example.org).
